AUDUBON CONNECTICUT'S VIRTUAL CAMP 2020 - THE AMAZING WORLD OF PLANTS REGISTRATION
Get a firsthand look into the mysterious and strange ways of the common (and not-so-common) plants and the animals who use them. Learn about pollinators and native host plants, find out how to make seed bombs, identify common invasive species, and get a glimpse into Monarch Butterfly tagging.
Ages: Kindergarten through 6 Grade
To Participate, Your Child Will Need:
- Mac, Windows PC, or mobile device with a webcam
- Stable internet connection with access to Zoom video conferencing
Each session will include activities such as live segments, recorded segments, featured crafts, and some Wild Jobs from field professionals! Sessions will be led live via Zoom by Audubon Connecticut Educators from our Sharon, Greenwich, and Bent of the River Centers. We will send out links for ideas for additional activities, crafts, and videos for your child to do at home.
Register for the entire week; Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday or choose one day!
