From Dragons to Damsels, these insects are a welcome sight in our summer landscape. Dragonflies are incredibly beneficial insects to have around us, as they feed on a number of smaller insects including flies that can otherwise become pests in our backyards and gardens.

Join Audubon naturalist Ryan MacLean for a special online webinar to learn about the lives of both the Dragonflies and Damselflies that inhabit our wetlands. Then we will venture outside to conduct a virtual Dragonfly Survey in our meadows and at Georgie’s Pond! This will be an exciting way to experience nature and also contribute to Community Science data on dragonfly populations.
- Program Fee: Our basic ticket fee is $10. We also have two additional ticket levels available with added donations. Your contributions help support our conservation work, including advocating for the protection of dragonflies and the habitats they need to survive.
