One of the best ways we can support wildlife around our homes, schools, or community spaces is through gardening. While local environments are beautiful and fostering them without the use of harmful chemicals is beneficial, doing this effectively requires an understanding of how plants, animals, and people interact to create balanced ecosystems. We are offering these private sessions in ecological gardening to help you develop a deeper understanding of this ecological balance, and to equip you with strategies to accomplish this.
These private sessions will be led by James Carr, who has taught at the New York Botanical Gardens for over 20 years. Please find the descriptions for each possible theme below, each of which may last up to 2 hours. If there will be multiple people in your party, please let us know the expected guest attendance. Please make sure each member of your party brings and wears a mask. After making your purchase, we will be in touch with you to schedule the date and time for your program. The date and time of year for your program is flexible, and we will email you after you book your program to schedule a date. All sessions will take place at the Greenwich Audubon Center.
