Getting to Know Botanical Bullies

Invasive plant species are bad news for our local habitats—it’s time to get them under control. Join Audubon Connecticut and Audubon New York for an online presentation that will tackle the issue of our flora foes. Expert staff from Bent of the River Audubon Center and the Bird-Friendly Communities program will discuss what invasive plant species are, common invasive species that you may find in your outdoor spaces, best practices in their removal, and native plant alternatives that you can replace them with. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions during our Q&A session. We hope to see you there!

Upon registration, you will receive a link to log in to the online classroom.

Admission: $10 per person

For questions, please contact Kate Pratt at Kathleen.Pratt@audubon.org or 203-405-9113.

Please note, by signing up for this webinar you are consenting to receive emails from Audubon about this program and our conservation work. You may opt-out of our emails at any time.
