Join Sharon Audubon Naturalist, Bethany Sheffer, in discovering the hidden world of insects that lurk beneath Ford Pond's surface! Many of the aerial insects we love to see during summer begin as aquatic larvae, such as dragonflies and damselflies. These insects, in turn, provide food for songbird species in addition to alerting us to potential pollution in water sources such as ponds and rivers. We'll provide dipping nets and containers to observe and identify just which insects are present, and we may even catch a frog or two!

Registration is $10 per family. (Please indicate how many families will be attending when the registration asks, "How Many?")

*Please note, by signing up for this event you are consenting to receive emails from Audubon about this program and our conservation work. You may opt-out of our emails at any time.
