Winter is an excellent time to start learning about bird identification, especially when there are great community science programs such as Christmas Bird Count (CBC) and Project FeederWatch in which anyone can participate and contribute data right from the comforts of home! Join SAC Education Program Manager Wendy Miller and Trixie Strauss Christmas Bird Count Compiler Zach Adams on this free, fun introduction to some of the most common feeder birds you may see at your feeders this winter. Learn about some of their feeding habits, tips to identify them, and how to put your new skills to work for our upcoming CBC counts. This program is great for all new beginning birders, whether you're a child or an adult.
Please note, by signing up for this event you are consenting to receive emails from Audubon about this program and our conservation work. You may opt-out of our emails at any time.
