Have you ever wondered what makes a wetland a wetland? Do you wonder why certain animals like frogs, salamanders, turtles, insects and birds need the water to survive? In this special virtual program, Audubon Naturalist Ryan MacLean will explain the importance of our many wonderful wetland habitats and the special animals that live there. Then we will venture outside for a special virtual tour of Georgie’s Pond and do some live pond scooping to find what creatures are living beneath the water’s surface. From tadpoles to turtles you will find out just how full of life a pond is just below the water’s edge!
